Remote Account Executive

Summary

Join uConnect's sales team and help educational institutions across North America improve career services access for students. This is a high-growth, hunter sales role focused on selling the uConnect Virtual Career Center platform to colleges and universities. You will manage a pipeline of enterprise deals, build strong relationships with clients, and achieve annual sales quotas. The ideal candidate has B2B SaaS sales experience, a proven track record of quota attainment, and a passion for uConnect's mission. This is a fully remote position offering competitive compensation, uncapped commission, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• All candidates must be comfortable building strategic and trusted relationships with enterprise buyers and also a demonstrated ability to drive sales opportunities forward inside large organizations
• Have a background as a Business Development Representative with rapid promotion to full account executive
• Have direct experience and energy for handling a high-volume of outbound and inbound interactions
• Demonstrate a pattern of curiosity, diligence and independent drive to overcome blockers and meet the sales challenge
• Have a proven track record in delivering $500K+ in annual sales
• Have experience of closing consultative customer deals in a B2B sales environment
• Have a knack for identifying and developing customer champions to improve conversion
• Be disciplined in working in a CRM system (eg, Hubspot) to manage your pipeline
• Have a demonstrated track record of opening new business relationships with mid-sized and larger institutions and / or businesses
• Be comfortable working in a remote-first setting, including working knowledge of common tools for collaborating remotely (ie. Zoom, Slack, G Suite etc.)

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales quota by cultivating strong, consultative relationships with educational institutions around the country
• Build a strong pipeline of opportunity within your territory by attending industry events, researching potential leads, networking, social media exposure, and following up on qualified leads
• Evangelize the uConnect platform and revolution at industry events and across your social media channels
• Work closely with Product and Marketing teams to help us get better/faster/stronger and stay responsive to customer needs
• Deliver demos and sales presentations both online and in-person
• Identify new areas for sales opportunity and revenue growth

• $150,000 - $250,000 a year
• Base + Commission ($150k-$250k OTE)
