Join Verkada, a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security, as their first Mid-Market Account Executive in New Zealand! This remote role, preferably based in Auckland or Wellington, offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact a fast-growing company. You will own the full sales cycle, collaborating with customers and channel partners to secure new business and expand existing accounts. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in selling security solutions and a deep understanding of New Zealand's channel and partner landscape. Verkada is committed to protecting people and places with privacy-sensitive technology, transforming physical security across various industries. This position requires frequent travel within New Zealand and occasional visits to the Sydney office.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role, ideally within the security integrator/reseller space
  • Experience selling physical security, SaaS, or IT infrastructure is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge and network of New Zealandโ€™s channel and partner landscape
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting with frequent travel to customers/partners across New Zealand, as well as regular visits to the Sydney office
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proven track record of consecutive quota attainment

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including outbound activity, virtual demos, proposals, and negotiations
  • Build and grow a strong pipeline of mid-market customers across New Zealand
  • Work closely with local integrators, resellers, and channel partners
  • Develop a deep understanding of Verkadaโ€™s product suite and how it fits into the broader physical security ecosystem
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to deliver tailored technical demos and ensure successful product rollouts
  • Provide feedback from the New Zealand market to help shape regional strategy and product improvements
  • Be a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the transition to cloud-managed physical security
