Summary
Join Vesta, a next-generation mortgage system company, as one of their first sales hires. You will play a crucial role in scaling their go-to-market strategy and establishing their sales playbook. This is an opportunity to work directly with the CEO, shape the sales organization, and potentially grow into a sales leadership position. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial enterprise software sales professional with experience closing complex, high-value deals in the enterprise software space. Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus but not required. Vesta offers a competitive compensation package and a remote-first culture with various benefits.
Requirements
- Proven experience selling enterprise software solutions, particularly those requiring significant organizational change or integration
- Strong relationship-building skills and a natural ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels, as well as the ability to build consensus across a large organization
- The ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to diverse audiences
- A self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills and follow-through
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for enterprise mortgage lenders, from initial outreach through closing
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners
- Conduct detailed discovery calls and product demos
- Develop and document repeatable sales processes that can scale with our growing team
- Contribute strategic insights to help shape our product roadmap based on customer feedback
- Represent Vesta at industry conferences and events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in or strong familiarity with the mortgage industry
- Most importantly, you're someone who combines deep sales expertise with genuine curiosity about our customers' challenges and a collaborative approach to finding solutions
