Responsibilities

  • Account & Team Management Support
  • Brand & Business Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of client goals across PR, influencer, and social disciplines, offering ideas to campaigns
  • Time & Budget Tracking: Manage campaign timelines and assist budget management (e.g. flagging expenses for tracking)
  • Workflow Management: Coordinate task assignments, ensuring collaboration and clarity between PR, influencer, and social teams including PMs and creative teams
  • Staffing: Ensure all time entered accurately via Harvest and flag if going under or over hours
  • Employee Development: Mentor junior team members by providing constructive feedback and guidance on their work. Continue to participate in training opportunities, seek mentorship, and lead brainstorms
  • Effective Communication
  • Client Communication (Emails/Status Calls): Manage up to account leads, ensuring updates are clear, timely, and aligned with project goals
  • Written Materials: Take ownership of drafting press releases, influencer briefs, and social media content, ensuring quality and alignment with client messaging
  • Deck Development: Support the development of decks for internal and client-facing presentations, ensuring strategic insights are communicated effectively
  • Presentation Skills: Present work confidently in internal meetings or calls, tailoring delivery to the audience's needs
  • Strategic Planning
  • Channel Audits (Earned, Social, Influencer): Perform detailed audits of client channels, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for optimization
  • Target Audience Analysis (Earned, Social, Influencer): Leverage target audience to inform media, influencer or social strategies, incorporating insights into actionable recommendations
  • Channel Fluency & Strategies (Earned, Influencer, Social): Assist with tactical plans (media strategy, influencer recommendations, content calendars etc.) that align with client objectives across earned, influencer, and social media channels
  • Creative Thinking
  • Newsjacking/Trend-to-Earned Ideas: Proactively identify and pitch timely earned, influencer, and social opportunities tied to cultural trends
  • Earned Media: Develop and execute creative seasonal or evergreen pitch ideas, including media mailers or event concepts
  • Influencer or Talent Partnerships: Collaborate with influencers and talent to create impactful content ideas and campaigns
  • Social Media: Craft creative social campaign concepts and post ideas that resonate with target audiences and meet client goals
  • Brand Campaign Concepts: Contribute to campaign ideation by proposing original, multi-channel creative ideas
  • Execution
  • Earned Media: Pitch to media, establish initial relationships with reporters/editors, and contribute to innovative earned tactics. Support media strategy and pitch angle development
  • Influencer: Begin influencer outreach, and help manage deliverables while maintaining strong communication with partners
  • Social Media: Draft and schedule social content, engage with audiences via Community Managmenet, and collaborate with internal teams on paid and organic campaigns
  • KPI, Merchandising & Reporting
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Assist in gathering and organizing data (impressions, story count, engagement rates, etc.), ensuring accuracy for reports and provide insights that inform tactical adjustments
  • Strategic Recommendations: Provide initial observations from data to inform broader team discussions and provide actionable recommendations
  • Stakeholder Communication: Contribute to regular reporting and clearly communicate results to internal leads
  • Goal Alignment & Performance Metrics: Track basic performance metrics (impressions, stories, engagement rates, etc.) daily with real-time flags to senior team members. Support goal-setting by aligning performance metrics with client objectives

  • Salary: $57,000 - $70,000 (Please note, the salary range for this role reflects the minimum and maximum compensation. In the spirit of transparency, we typically offer salaries within the 25th to 75th percentiles and cannot exceed the maximum listed. The final offer will depend on your experience, skills and qualifications.)
