Summary

Join BiggerPockets' Partnership team as a self-starter with strategic digital media relationships and experience to grow existing business and drive new business through consultative and solutions-based selling. The position is remote, with the option to work from the Denver office. Compensation includes a base salary plus commissions, with potential first-year earnings between $75,000 and $150,000. Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of integrated media sales experience (minimum of 2+ years sales experience in digital media, advertising, or marketing role) with an emphasis on selling branded content
  • Fluent in driving multiple streams of revenue across Newsletters, Podcasts, Social, Events, Content Creators and Video platforms
  • History of meeting and exceeding sales quotas as a result of the sale of complex deals
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong foundation in client presentations and meetings. You will be expected to quickly initiate quality conversations, set discovery meetings, create proposals, and/or other immediate revenue-generating opportunities
  • Thorough understanding of the full sales cycle and digital media operations. This includes researching, prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Ability to lead and close an a full partnership sales process, creating tailored partner proposals that include: native digital content, audio integrations, long-form content, social media & virtual event sponsorships
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Creativity is also a must
  • Ambitious, resourceful and driven. Taking the initiative to deliver beyond the expectation
  • Passion for and belief in BiggerPockets, its mission and its franchises and products

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, pitching and closing a high volume of new partners to drive net-new revenue for BiggerPockets digital properties through consultative selling. This will require a heavy outbound sales approach
  • Relationship management, including upselling and renewing business within existing partnerships
  • Performing strategic planning and ownership of your own book of business including account prioritization, organization and forecasting
  • Exceed personal and team revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Educate potential brand partners on BiggerPockets ad offerings, weaving together multiplatform activations across audio, branded content, events, newsletters, & video sponsorships
  • Understand and utilize specific data and audience insights that define BiggerPockets audience
  • Prospect & outreach to stakeholders within the assigned responsibility
  • Forecast, track and report on sales performance, meeting quarterly targets set by management
