Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance
  • QuickBooks Online experience
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and accounting regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to solve accounting issues and offer actionable insights
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely payments
  • Customer Invoicing and AR management
  • Daily bank reconciliation and cash reporting
  • Bi-monthly Payroll processing (ADP)
  • Excel reporting
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and accurately reported
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Prepare the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations and support audit preparations
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and filings for corporate taxes, sales taxes, and other relevant taxes
  • Provide insights into financial performance through detailed analysis of variances, trends, and forecasts
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment between financial goals and business operations

Preferred Qualifications

CPA or equivalent certification
