Your responsibilities will encompass reconciliation preparation, assisting with audits and financial reporting, and supporting end-of-month closing procedures. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, at least 3 years of experience, and proficiency with ERP systems. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in accounting with at least 3 years of accounting experience
- Must have experience administering and accounting for payroll for mid to large Canadian companies
- ERP Proficiency: Familiarity and prior experience working with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP or similar platforms
- Attention to detail, recognising errors, and correctly entering data into financial records
- Service-Oriented and Team Player: Displaying a service-oriented mindset, coupled with a friendly demeanor and a collaborative attitude as a team player
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation Preparation: for Bank accounts, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables and others
- Assisting with Audits and Financial Reporting: Providing support during corporate audits and contributing to meeting diverse financial reporting necessities as required
- Reporting to Tax Authorities: Assisting CFM in preparation of all tax and other returns; ensuring compliance and accuracy in submissions
- End-of-Month Closing Support: Collaborating in the seamless execution of end-of-month closing procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Payroll Administration: Working closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and on-time calculation of payroll expenses and associated employer related costs
- Expense Reporting: Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Data Integrity: Maintain financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Accounting Project Support and other Ad-hoc projects
Preferred Qualifications
French language fluency would be an asset
