Summary

Join ghSMART, a leadership advisory firm, as an Accounting Systems Analyst to provide financial reporting and analytical support, implement a new ERP system, and ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 4+ years of relevant experience as a Staff Accountant and Systems Analyst
• Prior experience in implementing a new ERP system
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data modeling are essential
• Solid knowledge of relational databases is required, including the ability to create reports linking fields from various tables
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly reporting and analytical support to measure and maintain annual financial goals and initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership, finance, and other team members to analyze, align, and report business activity, developing financial models and internal reports
• Lead the search, testing and implementation of a new ERP system, including testing, data migration, process design, and creating user documentation
• Post accurate journal entries, ensuring all supporting documentation is organized and attached in the general ledger system
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and communicate professionally with internal and external clients, including auditors, within set deadlines
