Summary

Join ReSource Pro as an Accountant II and leverage your accounting expertise throughout the M&A lifecycle. This remote role involves critical tasks such as data gathering, financial statement reviews, ERP data conversion, and integration activities. You will provide ongoing accounting support, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of general accounting experience and excellent collaboration skills. Preferred qualifications include project management and M&A experience. Requirements

  • All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration
  • 3–5 years of experience in general accounting functions (general ledger, journal entries, invoice processing, and/or payroll)
  • Experience with ERP systems, including booking journal entries, running reports, and data integration/validation
  • Excellent collaboration & team orientation

Responsibilities

  • Participate in due diligence meetings, gather key financial data, and track action items
  • Contribute to pre-close integration tasks, including data analysis of customer/vendor lists, contracts, and financial records
  • Support ERP data conversion and validation, including customer/vendor data, sub-ledger loads, and balance sheet entries
  • Collaborate with FP&A and accounting teams to ensure seamless financial process integration
  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide support for accounts payable, expense reporting, and accounts receivable processes
  • Assist with annual audits, internal/capital project accounting, and process improvement initiatives
  • Support project management tasks, tracking integration checklists and deliverables
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments (e.g., Technology, Talent)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Project Management
  • 1+ years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Workday experience a plus
