Accounting and Finance Specialist

Summary

Join Picus Security, a leading security validation company, as an Accounting and Finance Specialist. You will play a vital role in the financial operations of a growing company, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and accounting records. Responsibilities include processing sales, purchase, and bank transactions, performing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end and quarter-end closings. You will contribute to key financial processes such as cash flow reporting and oversee fixed asset transactions. This role requires a bachelor's degree, minimum 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in ERP systems. Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and finance
• Understanding of Turkish accounting principles and relevant legal regulations
• Proven ability to execute accounting transactions in compliance with statutory requirements
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms is a must
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to team goals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments

Responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase invoices, as well as bank transactions, into the ERP system on a daily and weekly basis
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely follow-up on collections and payments
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Participate in the preparation and reporting of cash flow statements
• Support the month-end and quarter-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Oversee and control fixed asset transactions in accordance with internal policies
• Manage and track e-invoicing and e-archive processes in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and maintain necessary financial documentation within the department
• Review and process all personnel-related expenses
• Support the sales invoicing process within the Finance function
• Contribute to daily and monthly financial operations, including activities related to Technopark compliance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience at a Big Four company is considered as a plus
