Summary
Join BaubleBar's Finance team as a Full-Time Temporary Accounting Clerk for a 3-6 month project! This role requires a detail-oriented and motivated individual to handle various administrative and accounting tasks. You will work independently and collaboratively, ensuring accurate record-keeping and assisting with audits. The position is remote, open to US residents, and demands strong organizational and communication skills. A high school diploma is required, while accounting coursework or a degree is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software is essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Netsuite, MS Dynamics, Sage, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Accurately record transactions in Excel
- Verify invoice details against purchase orders; summarize exceptions for further review
- Maintain organized and accurate records following internal file organization system
- Assist in audit preparation
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior experience in an accounting or administrative role
