Accounting Clerk

Summary

Join Paleo Valley's growing accounting team as an Accounting Clerk! This full-time, fully remote position involves managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, ensuring accurate coding and efficient processing. You'll work with multiple companies and accounts, requiring strong attention to detail and remote work experience. The ideal candidate possesses accounting knowledge, an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, and excellent communication skills. QuickBooks and Bills.com experience are preferred. Requirements

• Knowledge of overall accounting processes, specifically Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Associate’s degree in Accounting OR equivalent experience in AP
• Ability to multitask and work in a multi-company environment
• Detail-oriented with experience working remotely while staying engaged with a team
• Strong English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Enter and code bills
• Apply purchase orders to bills
• Apply payments
• Contact vendors
• Reconcile statements
• Create and code invoices
• Apply received payments
• Manage and respond to accounts payable-related emails
• Take on other accounting-related tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks and Bills.com
• Previous work in an accounting role for a company handling multiple entities

Benefits

• Salary: $2,000 - $2,500 per month (higher end for those open to occasional overtime)
• Full-time, fully remote role
