Summary

We are recruiting a part-time (20-30 hours per week) Accounting Manager to manage our accounting and compliance functions. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring financial data accuracy, developing reporting systems, handling tax filings, and communicating financial insights. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite preferred), Excel, strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite knowledge preferred)
• Proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet programs
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Work with Bookkeeper on monthly reconciliation of financial books
• Ensure accuracy of sales & financial data in NetSuite
• Develop and maintain efficient and accurate reporting systems
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Handle accounting-related correspondence and manage accounting emails
• Create and implement efficient processes to enhance the accounting function
• Communicate financial insights and updates effectively across various stakeholders and team members
• Manage and oversee the duties of the Accounting Administrator
