Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of experience related experience
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles following US GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate large datasets and ensure data integrity
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and a growth mindset

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the monthly close process
  • Prepare and record journal entries
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Create and distribute monthly client billing
  • Lead the accounts receivable collection process
  • Serve as the primary contact for A/R inquiries
  • Process cash applications
  • Manage daily client communication inbox
  • Collaborate with the Client Services Team on collection issues
  • Escalate troubled accounts to senior management
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices
  • Manage the Accounts Payable checklist
  • Facilitate new vendor setups
  • Research and resolve payable disputes
  • Research and record unrecorded liabilities
  • Support annual external audit requirements and diligence requests
  • File monthly or quarterly sales tax reports to taxing authorities where nexus has been established
  • Maintain internal control integrity, documentation, and compliance
  • Develop new controls to resolve identified weaknesses
  • Facilitate post-merger integrations of recent acquisitions
  • Provide system support for NetSuite, Bill.com and YayPay
  • Assist in the implementation of automated workflows
  • Effectively communicate financial information
  • Build relationships across multiple teams to foster collaboration
