Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary

Join Decimal's Accounting Analyst team and revolutionize accounting operations for SMBs! As a fully remote employee, you'll process accounts payable, match transactions to the ledger, and proactively seek automation opportunities. This role requires at least one year of experience with accounting software like QuickBooks Online or Xero, experience with multiple clients, and strong analytical skills. Requirements

• At least 1 year of work experience in Accounting Software (QuickBooks Online or Xero)
• Experience with multiple clients
• Ability to communicate with accounting managers and team members clearly and effectively
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with AP cloud accounting tools like Bill.com , Dext, Routable, Hubdoc, Settle, Expensify, etc

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable and queue them up for payment
• Match the AP transaction processed to the ledger
• Problem solve with a technology-first mindset
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation
• Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines are met

• External audit background from one of the top audit firms
