Accounts Receivable Associate

Summary

The job is for a fully remote Accounts Receivable Associate position in Central America and Mexico. The role involves creating invoices, reconciling batches, resolving customer issues, preparing aging reports, making collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, updating sub-ledger to G/L, entering revenue journals, and participating in various Order to Cash Continuous Improvement initiatives. The candidate should have an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable processes
• Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 with strong Excel skills
• Availability to work on a 8:00am to 5:00pm CST or MST schedule

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer details in the systems
• Create and enter invoices using several systems for customers located worldwide
• Research and reconcile customer orders, billing and payments
• Allocate Customer’s payment into their specific Accounts
• Facilitate the timely identification and resolution of Customer’s Claims and Deductions
• Conduct intensive collection activities and follow-up of overdue payments
• Attend to Customer’s queries and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries
• Assist in general financial management and analysis
• Perform other related duties as assigned
