Associate Project Manager

Summary

Join BenchSci's growing Platform - PMO Operations Team as an Associate Project Manager! Support the delivery of Platform stream projects, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project completion. Manage multiple projects concurrently, effectively handling tasks and priorities. This remote-first position welcomes Canadian applicants. You will assist in driving cross-functional projects, support project planning and execution, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and facilitate team collaboration. The role requires 1-2 years of project-related experience and familiarity with agile environments.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a project-related role or supporting technical projects
• Experience with working in an agile environment and familiarity with the SDLC
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and manage assigned tasks with deadlines
• Experience assisting in the delivery of software products and communicating updates to stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving and delivering cross-functional projects through collaboration with your team’s functional leads
• Support project estimating, timeline development, resource scheduling, and coordinating releases under the guidance of senior project managers
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on assigned tasks, potential risks, and progress towards milestones
• Facilitate smooth cross-functional team hand-offs and assist in resolving issues as they arise
• Assist in working cross-functionally to ensure the project scope and business case are clearly defined and documented
• Work with your team to identify and report roadmap/feature dependencies and impediments
• Assist in the management of multiple projects simultaneously
