B2B Director of Worldwide Operations

Summary

Join Babbel as the Director of B2B Operations to lead and optimize the B2B division. Collaborate closely with the SVP of B2B and other departments to execute strategic initiatives. This role prioritizes project management and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational performance and achieve profitability while maintaining rapid growth. The ideal candidate will effectively interface with corporate finance, spearhead strategic initiatives, and ensure the division's success. You will be responsible for developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring performance, and optimizing resource allocation. This position requires a strong background in B2B operations management and proven expertise in project management and financial analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in operations management, particularly within B2B environments
• Proven expertise in project management and a strong track record of leading cross-functional initiatives
• Demonstrated experience in optimizing P&L within B2B environments, focusing on enhancing revenue streams, reducing costs, and improving overall financial performance
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, with experience creating executive-level presentations that drive decision-making
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Proven ability to identify process improvements and implement effective strategic solutions
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach
• Proficiency in B2B GTM tools and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or similar; familiarity with AI productivity tools is essential

Responsibilities

• Oversee key projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely execution
• Lead the creation of impactful presentations for board meetings and executive stakeholders, effectively communicating key insights and strategies
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies to elevate the performance of the B2B division
• Collaborate with corporate finance and B2B finance and revenue operations teams to define and implement key KPI’s that enhance budget development and reporting, ensuring alignment with P&L, business objectives and fostering accountability
• Collaborate with all GTM teams and revenue operations to monitor key KPIs to evaluate the success of B2B initiatives and drive continuous improvements
• Collaborate with GTM teams and leadership to implement effective compensation plans that boost performance and profitability
• Optimize staffing and resource allocation to enhance team performance and project outcomes
• Respond to evolving business needs and remain agile in a dynamic environment
• Work effectively with corporate finance and other B2B teams to drive strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency
