You will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and cultivating new ecommerce merchant opportunities. Leveraging your sales skills and fintech knowledge, you will collaborate with businesses to deliver tailored commerce solutions. This role involves acquiring new customers, managing the sales cycle, identifying prospects, reporting on KPIs, ensuring excellent customer onboarding, and negotiating contracts. The ideal candidate possesses 5-7 years of fintech or payments software sales experience, a proven track record of new business solution selling, and a strong understanding of B2B payment processes. Requirements
- Your sales experience includes 5 to 7 years in fintech or payments software
- A top performing sales professional with a proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally within B2B payment sales and with lean startup or small org experience
- Strong understanding of B2B payment processes and challenges faced by businesses in managing cash flow
- A technical mindset, with prior experience in selling API-driven solutions
- Besides strong analytical skills and an organized way of working, you will have excellent communication and solution selling selling skills (directly tailored to customer needs) and experience in identifying and influencing key decision makers and stakeholders
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools to effectively manage and track leads and opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
Responsibilities
- Acquire new B2B customers across the US through your existing network and experience
- Build and manage a strong, reliable pipeline
- Own and drive the entire deal cycle from prospecting to close for new logos
- Identify new companies, use cases and prospects through research with help of our Business Development, Partnership, and Marketing team
- Provide regular reporting against KPIs, metrics and targets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activities, and progress in the CRM system
- Ensure the best customer experience and on-boarding process for new customers
- Negotiate commercial contracts in conjunction with Legal, Finance and Strategy through to execution
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERPs like Netsuite, INFOR, and EPICOR is a plus
