Bookkeeper

Summary

Join nXscale and work with our client, a company redefining furniture experiences, as a Finance Admin/Bookkeeper. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, managing general ledger tasks, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires experience in manufacturing, eCommerce, or retail, and proficiency in NetSuite and Shopify. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred. You will work closely with other departments and support various ad-hoc projects. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing company.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing, eCommerce, or retail industries
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in NetSuite and Shopify
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports monthly
• Manage general ledger tasks, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Process invoices and support accounts payable functions
• Verify and ensure proper handling of inventory receipts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Gather and prepare financial data for tax filings and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with other departments to collect financial information and resolve discrepancies
• Support various ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed
• Assist with audits and ensure accurate financial record-keeping

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Experience with Bluesheets or other AP automation tools
