Requirements

  • Relevant healthcare professional background with advanced degrees in healthcare administration - Doctor of Medicine is a plus
  • Proven experience in healthcare consulting, medical practice management, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems, including EHR implementation and optimization
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical, operational, and financial data
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse healthcare teams
  • Ability to lead change management and training initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows

Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyze current medical practice operations, workflows, and financial performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide expert recommendations on practice management, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between clinical staff and administrative personnel to align goals and improve patient outcomes
  • Support the implementation of electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies to enhance practice efficiency
  • Assist in strategic planning, including growth initiatives, service line development, and resource allocation
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for medical and administrative staff on best practices, compliance, and new technologies
  • Monitor healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations to keep the practice competitive and compliant
  • Analyze clinical and operational data to inform decision-making and report findings to stakeholders
  • Advise on financial management aspects such as billing, coding, reimbursement strategies, and cost control
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in strategy development and execution within healthcare settings
