Business Development Executive in China

Summary

The job description is for a Business Development role at Gelato, an Ethereum Rollup as a Service Platform. The responsibilities include scanning the web3 market for new partners, qualifying opportunities, working with leading DeFi projects, and conducting research on new ways to use Gelato products. Requirements include 2+ years of experience in web3, fluency in English and Mandarin, technical selling experience, web3 native usage, experience using CRMs (Hubspot preferred), a track record of managing partners, closing deals, and overachieving revenue goals, comfortability in fast-paced environments, strong time management skills, and a proactive personality. Preferred requirements include experience within a web3 infrastructure.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience within web3
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Technical selling experience, preferably for web3 backend solutions
• Web3 native using DeFi protocols every day/week
• Experience using CRMs (preferably Hubspot)
• Track record of managing partners, closing deals, and overachieving revenue goals
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments and having ambitious targets

Responsibilities

• Scan the web3 market for new partners
• Qualify existing business development opportunities and move them over the finish line
• Work with some of the leading DeFi projects in web3
• Conduct research on new ways to use Gelato products for existing partners

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within a web3 infrastructure (RPCs, indexers, oracles, etc.)
