Summary

Join Bitso as a Business Development Lead and drive significant growth for our stablecoins, MXNB and BRL1. You will lead the cross-border B2B growth strategy, from target market definition to top-of-funnel lead generation and customer lifecycle engagement. Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy, identifying key use cases and target partners. Proactively generate and manage a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key partners. Negotiate and secure new contracts. Gather market and customer insights to inform Bitso's stablecoin strategy. Collaborate with internal teams. Act as a visible ambassador for Bitso’s stablecoin initiatives. This role requires 4+ years of proven success in B2B business development or sales and a strategic, hands-on approach to growth. You must be results-oriented, possess excellent data-driven decision-making skills, and have a passion for leveraging technology to expand financial access.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for our stablecoins, identifying key use cases and target partners across various industries and segments
  • Identify, prioritize, and engage potential partners who can leverage MXNB and BRL1 for payments, remittances, treasury management, or other innovative solutions
  • Proactively generate and manage a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities, from initial outreach and qualification through negotiation and deal closure. You'll be comfortable leading 20+ conversations at any given time
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key partners, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration
  • Negotiate and secure new contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that drive stablecoin adoption and usage
  • Gather market and customer insights to inform Bitso's stablecoin strategy and product development
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, legal, compliance, marketing) to ensure seamless integration and support for new partnerships
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our business development processes, tools, and reporting to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Act as a visible ambassador for Bitso’s stablecoin initiatives, representing the project at industry events, conferences, panels, and working groups

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience in stablecoins, crypto, or DeFi
  • Background in traditional finance or payments, especially within B2B contexts
  • Understanding of the Latin American ecosystem—including its culture, business norms, and financial systems—with a particular focus on Mexico and Brazil
  • Familiarity with the global regulatory landscape around crypto and stablecoins, especially as it relates to compliance, licensing, and cross-border use cases
