Summary

The job is for a Business Development Manager, Strategic Partnerships at Cloudbeds. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience required with at least 3-5 years in technology, and consulting, business development, account management, digital marketing and/or professional services experience

Responsibilities

  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner relationship management and execute the partnership engagement strategy across South East Asia delivering quantifiable results with marketplace and distribution partners in travel and hospitality
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess the viability of potential new business and channel opportunities based on geography and other parameters
  • Identify, outreach, engage and develop new (and existing) partner relationships in APAC based on the Cloudbeds strategy, including the negotiation of commercial agreements
  • Evaluate and prioritize all inbound partner requests in the region
  • Manage the relationship with regional and global Cloudbeds partners across distribution, marketplace, financial services and more
  • Manage monetization of partners through scalable programs
  • Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of key business objectives, channel revenue deliverable and related product enhancement initiatives
  • Represent Cloudbeds as subject matter expert at industry events and forums

Preferred Qualifications

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the travel industry ideal, especially previous experience with travel technology products
  • Payments experience ideal
  • Proven ability to develop long term relationships with both internal and external customers. A team player who can lead by influence
  • A public speaker with ease and conviction, willing to represent Cloudbeds in industry events
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and travel regionally
  • Excellent English and Thai oral and written communication skills. Fluency in additional languages is ideal
