Business Development Manager

Summary

Join LGC Axolabs as a Business Development Manager and lead the forefront of nucleic acid therapeutics. This fully remote role, based preferably in Berlin, Germany, involves connecting with global teams, fostering partnerships, and championing Axolabs' commitment to excellence. You will proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborate with Business Intelligence, promote Axolabs as a leading CRO/CDMO, and build strong relationships with prospects and customers. Drive business growth through structured sales processes and strategic negotiations. The position offers a comprehensive onboarding, permanent employment contract with a company pension plan (for German employees), and a wide range of employee benefits focused on health and well-being. Travel up to 50% is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; additional business qualifications are a plus
• Proven experience in winning new business in the pharma, biotech, or CDMO sectors
• Strong understanding of drug development and regulatory landscapes
• Expertise in external communication with customers, prospects, and industry partners
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, fluent in English, and comfortable navigating complex sales cycles
