Summary
Join a leading supplier in the care industry as a Business Development Manager for the Republic of Ireland, working remotely. This role involves maximizing existing accounts, proactively seeking new customers, and building strong relationships. You will be the primary contact for customer account management, providing product training, negotiating contracts, and contributing to sales strategies. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with 3+ years of sales or account management experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer relationships. A company car, remote work flexibility, and a performance-based bonus are included in the compensation package.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven sales or account management experience
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about customer relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams & Zoom
- Willingness to travel within Ireland & access to reliable home Wi-Fi
Responsibilities
- Maximize and maintain existing accounts and relationships while proactively visiting prospective customers to build relationships and expand the region
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to customers
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Provide product and COSHH training (full training provided)
- Negotiate contracts and drive sales to meet targets
- Work with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
- Contribute information to sales strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled and analysing customer reactions
- Monitor customersโ budget, explaining costs or expenditures, and discussing new terms, if necessary
- Work closely with the Customer Care team
- Travel as needed while working from home
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare (desirable but not essential)
