Summary

Join BDA's SwagUp team, a fast-growing company backed by 40 years of industry leadership and $500M in annual revenue, as a Business Development Representative (BDR). As a BDR, you will spearhead outbound sales efforts, build new relationships, and introduce organizations to SwagUp's modern swag platform. This role involves shaping new strategies, experimenting with tools and channels, and learning what resonates with potential clients. You will be responsible for leading outreach, identifying qualified leads, personalizing outreach, building a sales pipeline, contributing to SwagUp's brand voice, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and focusing on new accounts and revenue impact. Successful BDRs may advance to Account Executive, marketing, or leadership roles. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding business and receive mentorship and clear goals.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in outbound sales, business development, or a similar role
  • Confidence using modern tools like CRM platforms, email automation, and LinkedIn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity, resilience, and drive - you’re not afraid to test, fail fast, learn, and try again with an improved-upon approach
  • A love for reaching out, starting conversations, and helping others see value

Responsibilities

  • Lead with outreach, backed by data and creativity
  • Identify and engage qualified leads across targeted industries and verticals using multi-channel strategies (email, phone, social, etc.). – this is an outbound, New Business Development role
  • Personalize your outreach based on research and understanding of customer pain points
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline through organized, metric-driven efforts
  • Contribute to SwagUp’s brand voice with content or messaging that feels fresh, authentic, and on point
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Sales, and Product to continually refine what works
  • Stay focused on outcomes: new accounts, revenue impact, and strong client handoffs

  • Started a business or sold at some point (size doesn’t matter; it’s about being Entrepreneurial)
  • History of winning in competitive settings
