Join Clariti's mission to empower governments with exceptional citizen experiences! As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, engaging with local government agencies across North America. You will manage inbound leads, research new prospects, and constantly improve outreach strategies. This highly visible role offers growth opportunities within the Go-to-Market team. The position requires strong communication and sales skills, experience with Salesforce, and a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant B2B sales experience. Requirements

  • Be extremely comfortable with cold calling prospects on the phone
  • Be coachable, self-aware and open to feedback
  • Have a curious mindset - not afraid to ask questions to dig deep into learning about your prospect’s pains and challenges
  • Be able to learn new concepts quickly and retain large amounts of information
  • Have experience in using Salesforce
  • Have 1 - 3 years relevant B2B sales and/or Govtech experience

Responsibilities

  • Research prospects to build effective outreach, learning the needs of our target prospects and articulating the value that Clariti provides
  • Use a combination of phone, email, and social touches to schedule qualified meetings with prospects
  • Work with the Demand Generation team to develop target lists, call strategies, messaging and new ways to increase awareness of Clariti
  • Constantly evolve and improve the lead qualification process
  • Engage with your Sales Executive partner to ensure timely handoff of leads
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects as information is gathered and interest is vetted
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to track and maintain notes and activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a successful track record in quota attainment
  • Have experience in consultative selling
  • Have experience in explaining technical/ complex solutions to key stakeholders
  • Have an interest in the government technology sector, local governments, public policy and/or in community development/ land development
  • Be located in the Pacific or Mountain Timezone
