Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years proven track record in business development, preferably within education
  • In-depth understanding of the country's education landscape and its key stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet sales targets consistently
  • Proficient networker with strong relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with strategic problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated individual capable of independent work
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the company’s presence in the country
  • Identify strategic partnerships with schools, ministries, and educational institutions in the country to establish mutually beneficial collaborations
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within schools, educational organizations, and government entities
  • Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and partnership agreements to ensure favorable terms for all parties
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials for potential partners
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, progress, and results to senior management
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, focusing on generating a minimum annual revenue of $400,000

  • Prior experience in EdTech
  • Established networks within the country schools, institutions, and government bodies
