Summary

Join Ontra, a leading AI legal tech company, as a Business Development Representative! This exciting sales role involves collaborating with Account Executives and Directors to book meetings and close deals. You will build your sales foundation by conducting research, making cold calls and emails, managing calendars and resources, preparing for meetings, executing sales outreach, and managing data in Salesforce. The ideal candidate possesses 1+ years of cold calling/emailing experience, a strong sales hunter mindset, technical savvy, excellent communication skills, and organizational abilities. Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience conducting cold calls and sending cold emails (or other written outreach); experience within a global technology company preferred
  • Consistently strive for and exceed sales targets; there is no goal too large and no client too complex for you
  • Enjoy learning new skills and have experience adapting to new platforms quickly; experience with Excel, Salesforce, and Outreach a plus
  • Comfortable communicating to a wide range of audiences with clear, concise, and compelling language
  • Process-oriented and enjoy creating and maintaining systems upon which others rely
  • Excellent time-management skills, can prioritize tasks appropriately, and work to streamline processes
  • Stickler for punctuation and grammar and consider yourself a go-to proofreading resource
  • Have the desire and ability to rapidly learn about new industries and the pain points of our target customers

Responsibilities

  • Support lead generation by conducting research and helping the Sales team curate prospect lists
  • Make 30 calls and send 50 emails per day in order to hit a goal of booking 10 meetings per month
  • Manage calendars, external resources, and efficiency tools to coordinate meetings, pitch activities, and conduct outbound campaigns
  • Help prepare for net-new meetings and sales pitches by preparing debriefs, write-ups, and other materials as needed
  • Execute sales outreach, support Account Directors and Account Executives in meetings, and manage follow-up activity to ensure smooth and consistent communication with prospects
  • Ensure data accuracy by entering new sales data, and by maintaining and updating Salesforce
  • Manage key action items and ad hoc requests for business development needs
