Summary
Join Paddle, a rapidly growing SaaS company, as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and contribute to our ambitious growth plans. As the first point of contact for sales efforts, you will generate demand and build a pipeline of qualified leads for the Account Executive team. Based in either Austin or Toronto, this role involves outbound sales, lead generation, and collaboration with marketing. The salary range is $55,000 to $60,000 plus bonus. Requirements
- You have had success in outbound sales
- You combine a consistent high quantity of outreach with relevant personalisation in your outreach
- You are comfortable using multiple methods of outreach such as sending videos, attending events, effective email sequencing, LinkedIn, social media or phone based efforts for example
- You are coachable, accountable and consistent in your efforts to develop knowledge and results
- You believe in a consultative and human sales approach and understand that every conversation is different
- You can operate in a high trust environment of autonomy and embrace change
- You are comfortable generating your own pipeline through outbound sales, calling and setting up great foundations with our potential customers
Responsibilities
- Quickly develop an understanding of our Ideal Customer Profile to target the best fit companies for Paddle
- Prospect your own pipeline of good fit Paddle accounts
- Generate conversations from outbound outreach
- Convert these conversations into qualified opportunities for our Account Executive team
- Partner with our marketing department to collaborate on in-person and virtual events to generate demand
- Effectively showcase Paddleβs set of products and best practices through the phone, LinkedIn and email amongst others
- Manage and prioritise your time so you consistently achieve your targets
- Consistently attain and exceed target expectations
