Requirements

  • Ideally, you have a structuring experience in commercial functions (internship, apprenticeship, associative)
  • You are not afraid to pick up your phone and you take cold calling as a game
  • You like commercial relations and spending time on the phone with your prospects
  • You are creative and never give up to achieve your goals in your area of action
  • You want to actively participate in the creation and structuring of a team
  • You know how to work in a challenging and fast-moving environment
  • You are eager to learn and progress in your sales job and show initiative in the face of problems you encounter
  • Strong ability to collaborate daily with other teams, you remain conciliatory, and you know how to formulate constructive feedback
  • Speak English (the level is evaluated and appreciated according to the department you are applying for)
  • Appreciate working in a constantly changing environment
  • Make collaboration a priority within your team or with other stakeholders
  • Have sufficient perspective to prioritize high-impact business actions in your daily activity

Responsibilities

  • Define a prospecting strategy to cover a defined perimeter, in collaboration with the AEs responsible for this perimeter
  • Carry out targeted prospecting (emails, hot calls, participation in events...) on potential firms
  • Present Pennylane and show how it would change their daily lives
  • Convince firms to meet with an AE to discuss the topics covered
  • Collaborate intelligently with your business partners to cover your prospecting perimeter in the most effective and relevant way
  • Analyze your performance, learn from other team members and share your techniques to increase team performance
  • Learn about Pennylane, its vision, and its teams to feel fully integrated
  • Integrate into the sales academy to perfectly understand the role of each person and grasp the functioning of the sales team as a whole
  • Be trained by your manager and followed by your buddy to get your bearings within the team
  • Follow team members (shadowing) and familiarize yourself with the product features, different types of leads and the speeches to be given
  • Make your first calls with leads who have small structures
  • Manage your portfolio of leads that you will have hunted (cold-calling / cold-emailing) independently
  • Handle increasingly complex and strategic leads for the company
  • Participate in process improvements within the team and share your best practices
  • Collaborate with other Pennylane teams (customer care, product, sales...) to transmit your customer feedback and participate in the continuous improvement of our platform
  • Become a confirmed BDR, and be able to manage any type of lead
  • Be responsible for one or more cross-functional projects with an impact on your team
  • Actively contribute to updating processes in our internal documentation base (Notion)
  • Participate in the training and coaching of new arrivals in the team
