Summary
Join SecurityScorecard as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and be the first point of contact for many future customers. Focus on generating qualified meetings with ideal buyers, collaborating closely with Field Sales Reps in the Benelux and Nordics regions. Treat your territory like your own business, finding the right buyers, crafting compelling outreach, and building strong connections. Benefit from ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development, including life/career coaching. This role offers an ideal entry point into cybersecurity and SaaS sales, with transferable skills. Fluency in English and either Dutch, Swedish, or Danish is required.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or business development in B2B/SaaS environments
- Track record of consistent and effective sales development performance
- History of creative, persistent, and effective outbound sales lead follow-up messaging
- Excellent communication, discovery, and presentation skills to connect with and persuade senior level decision makers
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability
- Proficiency and experience using Salesforce.com, Outreach, and LinkedIn
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required
- Fluency in either Dutch, Swedish, or Danish is required to support regional outreach and engagement
Responsibilities
- Book Meetings
- Qualify Inbounds
- Lead Gen. Outbound / Pipe generation
- Evangelize the product
- Keep Database Clean
- Crush phone and email activity
- Work with Marketing and Channel teams on ad hoc projects
- Master your tools (softwares)
- Research prospective organizations that can benefit from Security Scorecards cloud based software solutions
- Identify decision-makers in those organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be a self-starter, be comfortable with limited supervision, and have solid problem-solving skills
- Effective researcher to find new prospects
- Tech savvy and extremely comfortable navigating new software
- Sees feedback, coaching, and improvement
- Works with urgency
- Positive, warm, and inviting attitude with a βno challenge is too greatβ mentality
Benefits
- The estimated total compensation range for this position is $35,000 - $56,000 USD (base plus bonus)
- Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range
- In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits
