Business Strategy Senior Manager

Summary

Requirements

• High School Diploma or regional equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in field related to role
• 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in direct people management

Responsibilities

• Lead team to establish strategic priorities
• Work cross functionally with other business leaders, and work on business issues that affect and improve Rackspace as a company, in addition to their team’s goals
• Work cross functionally with departmental leaders directly to provide solutions on a variety of programs that are mission critical to the on-going success of the business
• Drive resolution of strategic issues affecting current and future business
• Manage relationships with internal and external strategic partners
• Be accountable for core operational processes, such as capitalization, workforce planning, and budget management, and ensure that weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business activities occur on-schedule
• Create, deploy, and ensure continual operation of core business processes
• Collaborate with other members of leadership to create staff development plans
• Work on problems of diverse scope where data requires complex analysis
• Communicate findings to leadership and to the broader organization by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways

• Advanced understanding of Rackspace’s strategic partners, vision, and roadmap
• Advanced knowledge of competitors’ offerings, as well as their strengths and weaknesses
• Expert level communication skills including with senior level executives
• Expert level powerpoint and excel skills
• Self starter and ability to solve complex problems
• Program management experience and/or experience leading strategic initiatives

Benefits

• $116,100 - $170,280 a year
• Variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments
