Summary

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO in a similar executive finance leadership role in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem solving skills - Healthcare experience a plus and experience in Medicare/reimbursement or familiarity with Medicare a plus
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead an effective finance team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all company stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate financial data and metrics, with a deep understanding of finance analytics and tools
  • Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong business acumen and financial acuity, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making

Responsibilities

  • Drive the companyโ€™s financial strategy that aligns with the companyโ€™s overall goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage the finance team and outsourced accounting team
  • Collaborate with other executives to develop and implement the companyโ€™s overall business strategy
  • Create and manage a financial plan and budget, allocating resources effectively
  • Analyze and evaluate financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and risk mitigation
  • Oversee financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit, compliance, and treasury
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including investors, lenders, and vendors
  • Ensure financial policies and procedures are in place and adhered to
  • Control and evaluate the companyโ€™s fundraising plans and capital structure
  • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the companyโ€™s operations
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
  • Ensure compliance with external commercial bank loan

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in fundraising and M&A is a plus
