As the Climate Resilience Sales Lead, you will drive the growth of this team by identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and closing deals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in sales
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales within the climate risk, resilience, and/or adaptation space
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations
  • Strong understanding of climate risk management and SaaS solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our climate risk, resilience, and adaptation services
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare accurate forecasts, and provide regular reports to management
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer journey

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to enterprise-level clients
  • Knowledge of climate risk and resilience policy & trends
  • Experience with sales enablement and business development
