Requirements

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in contract management or a related role, with a proven track record of handling complex agreements
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Be proficient in contract management software and tools and have experience automating and managing contract creation via CLMs
  • Possess a strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology
  • Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and approve contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with company objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate contract execution, resolve issues, and streamline operations
  • Develop and maintain standardized contract language and guidelines to improve efficiency while ensuring legal and policy compliance
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to support business continuity
  • Assess contract platforms and technologies, lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a scalable contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution or optimize existing tools
  • Maintain a contract database, track key terms and obligations, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
  • Manage contract-related tasks through Asana, effectively tracking multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Oversee vendor partnerships and contracts, lead a comprehensive vendor management process that includes performance assessments and compliance monitoring
  • Serve as a key legal contact, providing guidance on commonly requested edits, non-standard terms, and policies
  • Mentor junior team members on contract management best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Hold certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
