Summary
Join EMCO as a Communications Coordinator and support a two-way communication strategy for our national organization. You will be responsible for creating and editing internal and external communications, maintaining our intranet, and collaborating with various departments on marketing materials and website development. This remote position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite, and at least one year of relevant experience. Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Experience with social media and website content creation
- Knowledge of Web User Interface Design (UI), WordPress, and SharePoint
Responsibilities
- Support a two-way communication strategy between our NSC and Profit Centres
- Write and edit content for various internal and external communications and documents
- Determine effectiveness of communications to ensure the right message is being received
- Maintain internal communication platform
- Meet with stakeholders to assess and make necessary changes and improvements to functionality, design, and content of the intranet to reflect the companyβs needs
- Work with NSC departments to develop/design communications and marketing materials
- Support with development of public facing websites
Preferred Qualifications
- Web development experience
- Video editing experience with knowledge of Adobe PremierPro
- Bilingual in English and French
