Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit communications, engagement and marketing activities
  • Experience with project and process management
  • Graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other tools) and video editing skills
  • Experience using Salesforce, iContact (or other email marketing tools), and Pardot (or other marketing automation tools)

Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly member-only newsletter
  • Draft original content; source and curate content from members, partners and media
  • Design and deliver newsletter through USDN communications channel
  • Update and maintain USDN.org with new material, events, and announcements
  • Manage LinkedIn account to include developing and coordination of content calendar
  • Support the Communications team with program-specific efforts

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity or interest in the knowledge and content needs of professionals in the fields of local government, sustainability, climate change, resilience, and racial equity
