Summary

The Construction Scheduler is a strategic position responsible for overseeing planning and scheduling functions for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects at Hanwha Q CELLS USA. The role involves developing and implementing operational scheduling processes, managing project schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field & minimum two years construction scheduling experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Four to five years of construction scheduling experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational scheduling processes, policies, and tools to support project execution
• Manage Solar and BESS EPC projects to construction scheduling standards for self-perform projects
• Oversee the integration of earned value management processes with scheduling processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Primavera P6 into summary reporting
• Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of project team deliverables
• Perform in-depth analysis of project schedules to identify potential delays or constraints
• Ensure effective communication with project and executive management for timely decision-making
• Develop and implement tracking standards, particularly for contractual and construction milestones
• Contribute to preconstruction and subcontractor plan reviews
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Senior Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Engineer is preferred
• Must be proficient in P6 and knowledgeable with Critical Path Method (CPM)

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 a year
