Summary

Join Pharos, a global leader in the PrintOps industry, as their Marketing Content Manager. You will lead the development and execution of the content marketing strategy, creating content for various platforms, including the website, social media, and webinars. Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce high-impact content that informs, engages, and converts. Manage a comprehensive content calendar, optimize content for SEO/GEO and performance, and track content effectiveness. This high-visibility role will involve educating the world about PrintOps and positioning Pharos as a leader. The position is remote-eligible and offers a salary of $100,000-$120,000 annually, plus a bonus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Proven experience (10+ years) as a Content Manager, Copywriter, or similar role in a marketing or digital agency environment
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio of published articles or content samples
  • Experience in SEO/GEO and web traffic metrics
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, social media platforms
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and ability to drive content innovation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy in alignment with marketing objectives
  • Build and evangelize the PrintOps category, positioning Pharos as the clear leader through thought leadership
  • Create compelling, well-researched, brand-aligned content including blogs, social media posts, customer stories, eBooks, press releases, whitepapers, testimonial content as well as support development of other organizational materials
  • Serve as in-house editor to review and refine internal and external content for clarity, accuracy, brand alignment, and strategic value
  • Develop and own a content calendar that supports campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives
  • Ensure the Pharos website consistently reflects the latest updates, content, messaging and news, while regularly optimizing content to improve SEO/GEO, user engagement, and conversion performance
  • Develop and execute organic social media strategies that grow our audience, increase engagement, and drive qualified traffic across various channels, including Quora/Reddit
  • Monitor, measure, and report on content performance across platforms, including website traffic, content downloads, organic growth, social amplification, and campaign metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, external vendors and AI tools to produce cohesive, multimedia content
  • Lead the development and execution of owned and earned media strategies, including PR, speaker opportunities, and contributed articles
  • Act as a champion of the Pharos brand voice, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints

Benefits
