Requirements

  • Proven experience as a writer in the cybersecurity industry or in technical investigative journalism, preferably with 4+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including common threats and mitigation strategies
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
  • A strong understanding of the buyer’s journey and how various types of content lead prospects through the marketing funnel from awareness to consideration to evaluation
  • Proven success managing multiple projects and deadlines via strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to understand new technologies quickly and become a subject matter expert

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and execution for consideration-level marketing content
  • Work across the marketing team to create the content calendar, publishing at least one major asset and an average of 2-3 blog posts each month
  • Provide analysis and commentary on internal data and external industry reports
  • Conduct in-depth online research and interviews with SMEs to drive the content that fuels blog posts, webinars, solution briefs, and other content pieces
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, industry trends, high-profile attacks, and advancements in email security technologies
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation
  • Partner with customer marketing, partner marketing, and sales enablement to provide content support across Influitive, Impartner, and Highspot
  • Ensure artifact completeness by anticipating media/customer questions and ensuring that published content reflects the corresponding answers
  • Measure the results and effectiveness of content marketing to improve performance
  • Collaborate across the marketing team to optimize new and existing content for search engines, promote new assets across owned platforms
