Summary

Join The Motley Fool as a Conversion & Growth Lead and drive performance improvements across our personal finance business, Motley Fool Money. You will own the conversion optimization lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to executing tests and scaling successes. This role blends traditional CRO with broader site optimization strategy, requiring you to think beyond simple tests and tweaks. You will analyze data, prioritize opportunities, and execute using various levers, including A/B testing, content updates, and UX enhancements. You'll work cross-functionally, collaborating with editorial and marketing teams. Success in this role demands creative problem-solving, a data-driven approach, and AI literacy. Ultimately, you will help us exceed our target KPIs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience driving performance growth for a digital property
  • Strong grasp of funnel optimization strategies across multiple channels including paid media, SEO, email, and editorial platforms like Google Discover
  • Proven track record of implementing A/B tests that delivered measurable results
  • Hands-on experience with CRO tools such as VWO, Convert, or Optimizely
  • Fluency in Google Analytics and/or other web analytics platforms
  • Sharp writing instincts, especially for conversion copy – headlines, CTAs, and high-traffic landing pages
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for content generation, audience research, or A/B testing workflows (e.g. ChatGPT)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from GA, GSC, syndication platforms and other sources to identify growth opportunities and take action
  • Own and evolve our A/B testing roadmap, from idea to rollout to analysis
  • Write conversion-focused copy (CTAs, headlines, landing pages) that aligns with our editorial voice
  • Identify and scale high-impact revenue drivers across the site
  • Identify and execute on new site functionality or improvements to existing functionality that supports target KPI growth
  • Improve performance outcomes of content syndicated to external partners
  • Expand and optimize Motley Fool Money affiliate product pitches on our flagship investing site, Fool.com
  • Communicate key findings to stakeholders across the team

Preferred Qualifications

Solid working knowledge of credit cards – beyond just using them. You understand how rewards programs, balance transfers, intro APRs, and issuer policies actually work (and maybe you've even helped friends pick the right card)
