Summary

Join ZipRecruiter's Marketing team as a Customer Marketing Manager to lead initiatives that enhance enterprise customer engagement, boost revenue, and strengthen ZipRecruiter's brand. This cross-functional role involves managing programs across Account-Based Marketing (ABM), customer events, co-marketing, and customer storytelling, including overseeing the Customer Advisory Board and Talent All-Stars podcast. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Brand, and Customer Success teams to develop and implement strategies that foster strong customer relationships and showcase their success stories. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact how ZipRecruiter engages and expands its most valuable accounts. The role requires a strategic, results-oriented approach and a proven track record of success in B2B customer marketing. A hybrid work environment is offered, with most US-based positions eligible for remote work.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a performance-driven B2B marketing environment (e.g., customer marketing, ABM, or similar roles)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience leading customer-facing programs such as events, co-marketing initiatives, or customer storytelling
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Brand teams
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute customer marketing initiatives such as virtual/in-person events, case studies, the Talent All-Stars podcast, and our Customer Advisory Board
  • Plan and manage events aligned with business goals, including roundtables, roadshows, summits, and strategic onsite visits
  • Partner with Sales to target key accounts, develop tailored messaging, and create a playbook for onsite customer engagements
  • Lead the development and promotion of customer case studies and success stories, in collaboration with Sales, Brand, Content, and PR
  • Manage guest coordination, scripting, and production for our Talent All-Stars podcast and develop post-interview nurture strategies
  • Launch and run our Customer Advisory Board, including recruitment, agenda planning, and feedback loops to inform product strategy
  • Track and report on program performance and customer engagement outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years in customer marketing or enterprise-level ABM
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, marketing automation, and sales enablement tools
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics across channels (email, content, web)
  • Experience in HR tech, recruiting, or talent acquisition industry
