Join Remote as a Deal Desk Expert and contribute to the global employment space. This 6-month contract role within the Revenue Operations team supports the Expansion team by handling deal calculator requests, ensuring compliant offers, and automating processes. You will work closely with the Sales Expansion team, providing expertise on deal structure and quoting. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with software revenue recognition principles, and proficiency in Salesforce and CPQ. Requirements

  • Demonstrated software industry experience in Deal Desk, Commercial Pricing Strategy and Financial Analysis types of roles
  • Superior analytical skills along with the ability to demonstrate practical judgment in sophisticated situations
  • Expert data modelling skill and extensive experience working with complex models in gsheet/excel
  • Proven ability to partner with Go-To-Market teams and other cross-functional departments
  • Solid understanding of software revenue recognition principles
  • Need for highly developed communication skills both written and oral
  • Data-driven and out-of-norm attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize during high-volume periods. Schedule flexibility required for End of Month, Quarter, and Year End
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in an unstructured and fast-paced environment; diligent with deliverables and deadlines, able to multitask
  • Proficient knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ
  • Writes and speaks fluent English

Responsibilities

  • Build and drive all order form-based deals for our Expansion team
  • Owning the expansion calculator and recommending improvements to the process
  • Handle day-to-day transactional deal calculator requests
  • Be responsible for ensuring non-standard requests received from Sales are communicated clearly, accurately and adequate justification is provided in the Deal Approval System
  • Serve as the trusted advisor to the Sales Expansion team on deal structure and quoting
  • Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound offers with the Account Managers team
  • Investigate opportunities and design solutions to automate Deal Desk Expansion processes
  • Manage day-to-day quote management and pricing approvals, ensuring compliance with sales and business approval policies
  • Assist in interpreting contractual language and escalate issues to ensure deals comply with revenue recognition and operational policies
  • Monitor the Deal Desk case queue to provide general assistance and advice on common deal and Quote to Cash / Billing process questions
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to effectively coordinate and lead month and quarter end deal closure
  • Collaborate closely with our Compensation team to ensure Expansion bookings are accurately reflecting in each opportunity for exact commission calculations
