Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or related field
- 10-12 plus years of experience in delivering transformation services in AP, P2P, S2P, or the finance operations domain
- Proven experience in leading global implementation projects, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment that has a global footprint. Own profitability goals, time to value and NPS
- Work in an Onshore-Offshore environment to drive delivery across the globe
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans and initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering results
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to change
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and project implementation activities
- Authorized to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global implementation strategy aligned with the company's objectives and market demands
- Lead and mentor a team of implementation managers and specialists, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure project success. This would include working with India-based resources and other teams to ensure smooth implementations
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and monitoring progress against milestones. Work with delivery leadership to build project and program management practices that thrive on agility and quick value realization for the customers
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and integration of implementation efforts with overall business objectives
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients during the implementation phase, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively and escalations are identified and handled quickly
- Establish and maintain quality standards for implementation processes and deliverables, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to best practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize the implementation experience for clients and internal stakeholders
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on the status of implementation projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement
- Develop and manage the implementation budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and expenses are kept within budgetary constraints
- Identify potential risks and obstacles to successful implementation and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively
- Ensure that all implementation activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to support implementation efforts, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and timelines
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in project management and implementation best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a wide range of large ERP/P2P solutions
- Experience in tools such as Workday, Coupa, SAP, Oracle, JAGGAER, Ariba with both API and CSV based integrations
- Proficiency in finance operations, specifically around disbursements
- Ability to work closely with product teams to communicate feature requirements and plan projects around product release cycles
