You will work closely with application engineers, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient. The role includes building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, improving system observability, optimizing cloud usage, and strengthening our platformβs resilience. Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles, ideally in high-growth startup environments
- Proficiency in Python or Go, with strong software engineering fundamentals
- Proven ownership of production infrastructure and platform tooling, with strong debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Deep experience with Kubernetes and tools like ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform
- Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling from the ground up
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus or Datadog, and participation in an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve our DevOps and platform engineering function, from build and deployment pipelines to monitoring, infrastructure as code, and cost optimization
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that are secure, scalable, and built to support rapid product iterations without sacrificing stability
- Improve observability via Datadog, GCP, and custom dashboards
- Enable developer productivity by creating internal tooling, reusable modules, and simplifying infrastructure for other engineering teams
- Drive cost-efficiency and performance improvements across our infrastructure
- Help teams define and measure SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs, setting the standard for how we think about system health and reliability
- Play a key role in shaping our engineering culture, DevOps best practices, and influencing our long-term infrastructure roadmap
- Work cross-functionally with backend eng, security, finance, and other teams
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with GCP (preferred) or other major cloud providers, with a focus on cost and performance optimization
