Summary

Join Study Group Digital Learning as a Digital Enrichment & Wellbeing Officer and play a key role in supporting students' success in our digital programs. You will develop and deliver digital enrichment sessions, build a sense of community, provide wellbeing support, and ensure excellent student attendance and engagement. This role involves coordinating student voice activities, supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead, and managing student support inquiries. You will contribute to various meetings and reports, representing student wellbeing and enrichment. The position is a full-time, fixed-term contract until August 31st, 2025, based in Brighton (remote).

Requirements

  • Excellent IT skills particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience of working in an educational setting with students
  • Experience of reporting and tracking information
  • Experience of being flexible and working to specific deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver digital enrichment sessions and provide links to enrichment resources via Student Hubs
  • Contribute to student induction planning
  • Help build a sense of community through participation in weekly briefings and through facilitating other student activities
  • Co-ordinate Student Voice activities including Digital Student Ambassador programme
  • Provide wellbeing support for students 1:1, in small groups, or for the whole cohort. Ensure meticulous record keeping
  • Represent wellbeing and enrichment in relevant meetings, boards, committees and reports
  • Support the DSL with reporting, risk assessments, and other digital safeguarding requirements including for any U18 learners
  • Help manage responses in the Student Support and Student Wellbeing inboxes
  • Participate in SGDL cross-team panels or other relevant meetings or committees to represent student wellbeing and enrichment
  • Support with implementation of Attendance and Engagement Policy, reporting, and any required actions
  • Support with extenuating circumstances meetings and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Mental Health First Aid Training
  • Assist Training
  • Deputy Safeguarding Training
  • Experience of delivering support or enrichment or information sessions to large groups as well as smaller groups and 1:1
  • Experience of safeguarding and providing wellbeing support
  • Experience of facilitating community-building activities
  • Experience in communicating with and liaising with multiple different stakeholders

  • Salary: Up to Β£26,000 per annum
