Join Accordion's Data & Analytics team as a Technology Director to lead the technological aspects of data and analytics, including implementation and optimization of data management and analytical tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Masterโ€™s degree will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant work experience with 2+ yearsโ€™ experience in client facing/professional services environment
  • Any Enterprise Data Architect certification will be an added advantage
  • Experience in designing logical & physical data design architectures in various RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL etc.), Non-RDBMS (MongoDB, Cassandra etc.) or Data Warehouse (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake etc.) environments
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • In-depth knowledge of any one of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for solution design, development, and delivery
  • Strong leadership & proactive communication to coordinate with the project team and other internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of data architecture ensuring scalability and performance
  • Evaluate and suggest appropriate data management tools/platforms to recommend analyses that can deliver results for the client
  • Translate business requirements into logical and physical design of databases, data warehouses, and data streams
  • Develop end-to-end Business Intelligence framework based on requirements including recommending appropriate architecture (on-premises or cloud-based), analytics and reporting
  • Work closely with the D&A Business and Technology teams to guide in-solution development and implementation
  • Conduct training programs and knowledge transfer sessions to junior developers when needed. Recommend improvements to provide optimum reporting solutions
  • Research and track the latest developments in the data management field to maintain expertise about the latest best practices and techniques within the industry
  • Manage and lead a team of data engineers, facilitate people development and proactively ensure that development agenda is fulfilled for all team members
  • Regularly engage in peer level discussions with the C-Suite / C-1 Suite of client organizations, to partner with them as a trusted data management advisor
  • Travel to client site as needed
