Summary

Join GoDaddy's Payments team as Director of Payment Strategy and Operations and oversee the end-to-end payment lifecycle for GoDaddy brands. This high-visibility role focuses on improving payment acceptance rates, reducing costs, and maximizing revenue. You will develop and implement payment optimization strategies, drive revenue growth, manage vendors and partners, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, deliver a world-class customer payment experience, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position requires 8+ years of experience in payments operations and a proven track record of optimizing payment solutions. Data-driven decision-making and strong leadership skills are essential. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in payments operations, merchant services, or related roles
• Proven track record in optimizing payment solutions with deep expertise in global payment processing, card networks, alternative payment methods, and compliance
• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working with payment processors, gateways, and financial institutions to drive alignment and execution

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive payments optimization strategy aligned with GoDaddy's objectives and brand needs
• Drive optimization of payment solutions across GoDaddy brands to monetize invoiced volume across the portfolio
• Work closely with payment processors, banks, and fintech firms to improve performance, expand market reach, and cultivate strategic relationships
• Lead negotiations with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions that benefit GoDaddy's payment operations
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, payment network rules, and security protocols, mitigating fraud and chargeback risks
• Deliver a world-class payment experience for our customers, ensuring seamless and easy payment collection
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Care, and Finance teams to support payments-related initiatives and product improvements
• Utilize data analytics to track significant measures, analyze performance data, and iterate strategies to improve impact
